Omega Eta Omega Chapter was chartered December 20, 2015. We provide programs of service throughout the greater Howard County, Maryland community. Our programs target five critical areas of service:
  • HBCU for Life: A Call to Action.  With our organization's program initiative, we focus on Achievement, Self-Awareness, Communication, Engagement, Networking and Developmental Skills to help high school students achieve their potential. Omega Eta Omega also has a partnership with the Howard County Board of Education and a mentoring program for young girls at Veterans Elementary School. The chapter also stresses on the survival of our HBCUs.  The signature #CAP provides a means for the chapter to assist young people through the entire college admissions process.
  • Women's Healthcare and Wellness. By working with national partners, the Alzheimer’s Association (AHA/ASA) and National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), we have implemented programs focused on Alzheimer’s disease and Caregiver Support, Stroke and heart Disease Prevention and Mental Health and Wellness.
  • Building Your Economic Legacy. Chapter programs focus on increasing the awareness of good economic health for everyone and of encouraging success by improving our individual economic health.
  • The Arts! With our organization's initiative to focus on the arts, we will expose students to arts enrichment and culture by focusing on visual and performing arts and by showcasing talent through the exploration of writers, entertainers and various other artists.
